Terms & Conditions

Easy Counter (Mantra Chanting) · Last updated: 21 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Easy Counter (Mantra Chanting) mobile application (the “App”), published by Native Software (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Licence to use the App

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You may not: copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the App; rent, lease, sell, sublicense or redistribute it; remove any proprietary notices; or use it in any way that breaks applicable law or the rules of the store you installed it from.

The App, its name, design, artwork and content remain the property of Native Software and its licensors. These Terms grant you no ownership rights.

2. Your data and backups

Your counters, history and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not operate an account system and we do not hold a copy of your practice data on our servers.

The App can back up your data to your own cloud storage — Google Drive on Android, or iCloud Drive on iOS. Those backups live in your account, under your control, governed by Google’s or Apple’s terms, not ours.

Please keep a backup

Because your data lives on your device, it can be lost if the device is lost, damaged or reset, if you uninstall the App, or if a backup has not run recently. We strongly recommend enabling automatic backup. We cannot recover data that was never backed up.

3. Subscriptions, purchases and billing

The App is free to use and supported by advertising. You may optionally purchase a subscription to remove advertisements and unlock premium features.

3.1 Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription will renew automatically and your payment method will be charged the price shown at the time of purchase, for a further period of the same length.

The subscription length, the price and the currency are shown on the purchase screen inside the App and on the store listing before you confirm. Some products may instead be offered as a one-time purchase; where that is the case it is stated clearly at the point of purchase and no renewal occurs.

3.2 Managing and cancelling

All billing is handled by the store you purchased through — Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your payment details. You can view, change or cancel a subscription at any time:

Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

3.3 Refunds

Refunds are handled under the policies of Google Play or the Apple App Store, and are subject to their discretion, not ours. Please raise refund requests directly with the relevant store. Where consumer law in your country gives you additional rights, those rights are not affected by these Terms.

3.4 Rewarded advertisements

The App may offer an optional rewarded video advertisement in exchange for a temporary ad-free period. Watching it is always your choice, and the reward is temporary and non-transferable.

4. Advertising

The free version of the App displays advertisements supplied by third-party ad networks, including Google AdMob. Advertisers may use device identifiers to serve and measure ads. How your information is handled is described in our Privacy Policy. We do not control the content of third-party advertisements.

5. Notifications and reminders

You may enable practice reminders and a daily motivational quote. These are delivered as local notifications from your device. Delivery depends on your device’s settings, permissions and power management, and cannot be guaranteed to arrive at an exact time. You can disable notifications at any time in the App’s settings or in your device settings.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the App to break any law, to interfere with its normal operation, to attempt unauthorised access to any system, or to circumvent purchase, advertising or licensing controls.

7. Nature of the App — please read

Easy Counter is a counting and habit-tracking tool. It is offered to support personal practice such as japa, tasbih, rosary, meditation or exercise.

It is not religious, spiritual, medical, psychological or health advice, and it is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified teacher or healthcare professional. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any religion, sect, tradition or organisation. Quotations and content included in the App are provided for general inspiration only.

If you have a health condition, consult a qualified professional before beginning any new practice routine.

8. Availability and changes

We may update, change, suspend or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We aim to keep the App working well, but we do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. Features may depend on third-party services (such as Google Play services, Google Drive, iCloud or ad networks) that are outside our control.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, that it will operate without interruption or error, or that any data will be preserved.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Native Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of practice records, loss of profits or loss of goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid us for the App in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) INR 1,000.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Third-party terms

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the store you installed it from. If you installed the App from the Apple App Store, Apple is not a party to these Terms, Apple has no obligation to provide support for the App, and Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement applies to the extent it conflicts with these Terms. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

12. Termination

These Terms apply until terminated. Your licence ends automatically if you breach them. You may end it at any time by deleting the App. Sections that by their nature should survive — including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept them, please stop using the App.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any mandatory rights you have as a consumer in your country of residence, the courts at Surat, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the App.
